We wrote about some famous rock and roll classics songwriters like David Gates a while back, but you may not know about the three sonwriters so associated with Motown. Lamont Dozier, Brian Holland and Eddie Holland are the men. Songs they wrote are still being placed with artists today and that's the way to keep those royalties coming in for years!

"HARMONY" EXPLAINED BY ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANICCA

"Harmony, in music, the sound of two or more notes heard simultaneously. In practice, this broad definition can also include some instances of notes sounded one after the other. If the consecutively sounded notes call to mind the notes of a familiar chord (a group of notes sounded together), the ear creates its own simultaneity in the same way that the eye perceives movement in a motion picture. In such cases the ear perceives the harmony that would result if the notes had sounded together. In a narrower sense, harmony refers to the extensively developed system of chords and the ... WEEZERS TRIBUTE TO BUDDY HOLLY
"Buddy Holly" came out in 2004 on Weezer's Blue Album (Geffen Records) and was produced by Ric Ocasek. The band, which formed in Kinosha, Wisconsin has been touring in New Zealand and Australiasia.
