DAILY NEWS ; MUSEUM SPOTLIGHTS OLD SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - NUDIE'S SUITS
By Gregory J. Wilcox, Los Angeles Daily News on 3/27/2014
Tommy Gelinas, a voracious Valley memorabilia collector and owner of the Print Lab in North Hollywood, founded the museum last year, largely so he could show off his finds. It now houses two “Nudie mobiles,” old Pontiac Bonnevilles customized by Nudie Cohen, the late Studio City-based western-clothing designer. Cohen was responsible for the “Rhinestone Cowboy” craze, and the museum proudly displays a gold lamé suit he designed for Elvis Presley.
