WANDA JACKSON RECORDS AGAIN! JACK WHITE'S LABEL : THIRD MAN RECORDS

Contemporary Rocker Jack White (The White Stripes) has his own record label called Third Man Records, and Wanda Jackson, famous for her recordings of "I Gotta Know," and "Let's Have a Party" circa 1956 when she was about 18 years old - as well as for being one of Elvis' early girlfriends - has a new CD out on that label. It's called THE PARTY AIN'T OVER YET! (It really isn't. My party isn't over yet either Wanda!)

We're linking to the LA Weekly (click on the title above!) from the Page Two Column, January 21-27 2011 edition.

  1. That's one heck of an album. Wanda is still the rockingest lady.
Her versions of "You Know I'm No Good" and "Thunder on the Mountain" are worth the price of admission alone.
